About หนุ่ย อำพล

อำพล ลำพูน is a Thai singer whose music moves between phleng phuea chiwit — the socially conscious "songs for life" tradition — luk thung, and roots-leaning Thai rock, with a weathered, earnest vocal style that sits closer to the countryside than the city. He has been active since the early 1960s, giving him a career that stretches across several generations of Thai popular music. With a following built largely on that long-haul reputation rather than recent viral moments, catching him live is a chance to hear that tradition performed by someone who has lived inside it for decades.
