About Kings of Convenience

Kings of Convenience are a Norwegian acoustic duo — Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe — whose close-harmonied, fingerpicked folk pop sits somewhere between Simon & Garfunkel and quiet Scandinavian minimalism. Their 2021 comeback album Peace or Love, their first in twelve years, brought them back to stages across Europe and Asia with an audience that had been waiting over a decade for new material.
