About the Artist

หนุ่ย อำพล is a Thai singer rooted in phleng phuea chiwit — the folk-inflected "songs for life" tradition — with a sound that also pulls from luk thung and mainstream Thai rock. He carries a following of around 82K on Spotify, suggesting a loyal regional audience rather than a household name. If that roots-driven strain of Thai popular music is your thing, a smaller venue set is a reasonable way to hear it up close.
