About the Artist

FORD TRIO is a Thai three-piece formed in 2018, playing a blend of blues, funk, rock and soul that sits closer to psychedelic funk than to standard Thai rock. Their influences are easy to hear: John Mayer's guitar-driven songwriting and Stevie Wonder's groove show up in the rhythms, while the lyrics lean toward heartfelt, story-driven material. With only three players, the band's interplay is the draw, so it's a good pick if you like funk-inflected rock built on tight, live musicianship.
