About the Artist
The Richman Toy is a Thai band whose sound pulls from multiple threads of Thai popular music — rock and pop at the core, but with traces of phleng phuea chiwit and luk thung that give their songs a distinctly regional character. With around 147K Spotify followers, they've built a real audience without yet crossing into mainstream territory. If the folk and country-inflected influences translate to the stage, there's likely more texture here than a standard Thai rock set.
