About Heretoir
Heretoir is a German blackgaze project founded in Augsburg in 2006, built around layered guitar atmospherics where black metal abrasion bleeds into post-rock drift. The project has cultivated a dedicated following of around 55K Spotify listeners largely through word-of-mouth within the atmospheric metal underground. Live performances in this style tend to reward the patient — the density of the recorded sound translates best when the room is dark and loud.
