About the Artist

Heretoir is a German post-black metal band founded by Eklatanz in 2006, blending black metal's tremolo-picked intensity with the wash of shoegaze and post-rock. Their songs circle around melancholy, nostalgia and isolation, and the project began as purely acoustic music before moving toward heavier territory. Their sound suits listeners who want atmosphere and emotional weight more than raw aggression, which makes the live setting a good fit for a band built around slow-building, immersive songs.
