Unreqvited is a Canadian solo project that layers black metal architecture — tremolo guitars, blastbeats — beneath wide, post-rock atmospherics, landing somewhere between depressive BM and cinematic ambient. The project has been prolific since launching in 2016, releasing multiple full-lengths through Bandcamp that have built a dedicated following in atmospheric metal circles. Live appearances are rare, which makes any show worth paying attention to if the sound connects with you on record.
