About OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM

Official髭男dism are a Japanese four-piece from Matsue who blend J-pop melodrama with rock instrumentation and occasional anime tie-ins — think soaring piano-led choruses with a rhythm section that actually pushes. Their 2019 single "Pretender" crossed 500 million streams on Spotify and effectively made them one of the dominant mainstream acts in Japan through the early 2020s. Vocalist Fujihara Satoshi's falsetto range is the centrepiece live, and their arena-scale productions are built around it.
