About the Artist

Prune Deer (話梅鹿) is a four-piece post-rock band based in Hong Kong, working in the tangled, interlocking guitar style of math rock with the slow-building dynamics of post-rock. They sit within the Chinese-language indie scene that links Hong Kong and Taiwan, and their instrumental approach travels easily across language lines. Live, expect tightly meshed guitar patterns where the rhythmic detail is easier to follow in person than on a stream.
