About Asunojokei
Asunojokei (明日の叙景) is a Japanese blackgaze band formed in Taitō, Tokyo in 2014, pairing black metal's tremolo-picked guitars and shrieked vocals with the washed-out, melodic textures of shoegaze and screamo. They began with a free two-track demo, then self-released the EP A Bird in the Fault in 2016, which Chinese label Pest Productions later issued internationally. For fans of Alcest or Deafheaven who want to hear the genre from a Tokyo scene, a Bangkok date is a rare chance to see them in a small room.
