N.A.P. (New African Poets) are a Strasbourg-based hip hop group active since 1988, rooted in conscious rap with lyrics shaped by their Islamic faith and the Neuhof neighbourhood where they came up. They're a long-running act with a small current following, so this is the kind of show where you're likely in a room with people who genuinely know the catalogue. If French-language hip hop with a political and spiritual edge is your thing, catching them at this scale is a different proposition to a festival set.
