Getting There
Located in the Khlong Toei area of Bangkok, on Sukhumvit 26, inside the @Flow House building (2nd floor). By BTS: Get off at Phrom Phong station on the Sukhumvit Line, then continue by taxi, motorbike taxi, or on foot along Sukhumvit 26. Check Google Maps for the exact walking route. By MRT: Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre station (Blue Line) is the closest MRT option, followed by a short taxi or motorbike taxi ride. By taxi: Set Google Maps as your destination or show the driver the venue name in Thai. Traffic around Sukhumvit can be heavy in the evening, so allow extra time. By ride-hailing: Grab and Bolt both operate in the area. Set the pin to the venue's Google Maps location for accurate drop-off. By motorbike taxi: Available at the mouth of the soi, useful for skipping traffic on the final stretch. By car: Street parking is limited. Check Google Maps for nearby parking options, or use public transport or ride-hailing on show nights.
About Softcult
Softcult is a Canadian duo from Ontario, made up of twin siblings Mercedes and Phoenix Arn-Horn, who pair shoegaze haze and dream pop melody with the confrontational streak of riot grrrl and 90s grunge. Before forming the band around 2020, the pair played in the pop-punk group Courage My Love, and Phoenix still handles drums, backing vocals and production alongside Mercedes' vocals and guitar. Live, they play with a touring lead guitarist and bassist, which gives the wall-of-fuzz arrangements a fuller, heavier sound than the studio recordings suggest.
