Getting There
Located in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, on the northern edge of Bangkok's metropolitan area, next to Muang Thong Thani.
By car: Take Chaengwattana Rd or the Tiwanon Rd corridor north from central Bangkok. Travel time varies widely with traffic, so allow extra time on event nights.
By taxi or ride-hailing: Grab and Bolt both serve the area. Set the drop-off to IMPACT Arena in the app. Expect heavy traffic and surge pricing after shows.
By metro: The MRT Pink Line (Muang Thong Thani station) is the closest rail option. Check current timetables, as service hours may end before late concerts finish.
By bus: Several city bus routes and minibuses serve Chaengwattana and Muang Thong Thani. Check current routes on Google Maps, as numbers change.
By shuttle: Event organizers sometimes arrange shuttles from nearby stations. Check your ticket or the promoter's page for details.
Tip: Open the Google Maps link for live directions and traffic. Plan your trip home early, since taxis and trains get very crowded after concerts.
About Moderndog
Moderndog (โมเดิร์นด็อก) is a Bangkok-formed Thai rock band, active since 1992, whose sound blends alternative and indie rock with the Thai pop and phleng phuea chiwit traditions. Their 1994 self-titled debut sold around 500,000 copies, and their 2004 album That Song was produced by Tony Doogan, known for his work with Belle & Sebastian and Mogwai, with guest appearances from Sean Lennon and Yumiko Ohno of Buffalo Daughter. Three singles from that record reached No. 1 in Thailand, so a live set draws on a deep run of hits from more than three decades.
