Getting There
Located on Sukhumvit Road in the Phra Khanong area of Bangkok, east of the city center. By BTS: Take the Skytrain along the Sukhumvit Line to the Phra Khanong area, then continue on foot or by a short taxi or motorbike taxi ride. Check Google Maps for the exact walking route. By taxi or ride-hailing: Grab, Bolt, or a metered taxi can drop you at the venue. Enter the venue name in the app for the correct pin. By car: Drive along Sukhumvit Road. Parking may be limited, so check with the venue beforehand. By bus: Several city bus lines run along Sukhumvit Road. Use Google Maps to find the current route and nearest stop. On foot: Walking from nearby Sukhumvit stops is possible but can be hot and humid, so allow extra time. Tip: Traffic on Sukhumvit Road is heavy at rush hour, so the BTS is usually the most reliable option on show nights. Use the Google Maps link for live directions.
About Greasy Cafe
Greasy Cafe is the project of Bangkok-scene singer-songwriter Apichai Tragoolpadetgrai (known as Lek), who sits between Thai rock and indie pop with a reflective, story-driven approach to songwriting. He is also a working stills photographer who has shot on major Thai film sets including Jan Dara, Angulimala and The Pirate of the Sea, and he released his debut album Sing Lao Nee ("These Things") in 2008 as the first artist of that year on the SMALLROOM label. After more than a decade of music-making before that debut, his songs carry a patient, lived-in feel that suits a close, small-room show.
