MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS (マスドレ) is a Japanese trio whose music runs through shoegaze haze, math-rock rhythms, and the melodic pull of J-rock. They have released through Universal Music Japan, and their English-language following has grown well beyond Japan, which is unusual for an indie band singing mostly in Japanese.
