Mass of the Fermenting Dregs (マスドレ) are a Kobe trio who have been threading shoegaze density and math rock precision through melodic J-rock since 2002. They've released multiple albums on Universal Music Japan and built a following of over 330K on Spotify — substantial for a band that stays resolutely on the noisier, more abrasive end of Japanese indie.
