About Maroon 5
Maroon 5 is a Los Angeles pop-rock band led by Adam Levine, who grew out of the high-school group Kara's Flowers and found their sound on the funk-tinged 2002 debut Songs About Jane. They went on to pair guitar-driven hooks with glossy pop production on hits like "This Love," "Moves Like Jagger," "Sugar," and "Girls Like You," and they won the Best New Artist Grammy in 2005.
