About Floyd Lavine

Floyd Lavine is a Cape Town-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer working in afro house, afro tech, and tribal house — music that draws on Southern African rhythmic traditions and filters them through a European club sensibility. He has releases on Bandcamp and SoundCloud that show a producer comfortable across both peak-time floor tracks and slower, percussive builds. His sets are DJ-led rather than live-instrumentation, so the draw is in how he sequences and reads a room over several hours.
