Getting There
Located in the Khlong Tan Nuea area of Watthana, Bangkok, in a side alley (soi) off Sukhumvit.
By BTS: Take the Sukhumvit Line to the Phrom Phong or Thong Lo area, then continue by taxi or motorbike taxi. Check Google Maps for the best exit and walking route.
By taxi: The easiest option. Set the Google Maps link as your destination, or show the driver the venue name in Thai. Ride-hailing apps such as Grab and Bolt also work.
By motorbike taxi: Useful for the final stretch from the main road into the alley, especially at busy times.
By car: Drive to the Watthana district and follow Google Maps into the alley. Parking is likely limited, so check with the venue beforehand.
On foot: If you are staying nearby in Watthana, use the Google Maps link for a walking route. Expect heat and humidity.
Tip: Sukhumvit traffic gets heavy in the evening, so allow extra time on show nights.
About MLiR
MLiR is a Swedish duo, Einar Christoffersson and Marco Gegenheimer, who mix analog machines, samples, live instrumentation and field recordings into genre-resistant electronic music that sits between club tracks and cinematic composition. They formed in 2014 and broke through in 2016 with the EP Swedish Lo-Life on Studio Barnhus, the label run by Axel Boman and Kornél Kovács, then released their debut album Pulpo Fiction in 2024. Their roots in deep-digging DJ sets and live instrumentation suggest a show that moves between dance-floor sets and band-style playing, which should suit fans of the Studio Barnhus catalogue.
