About This Event

Organized by Bangkok Opera Foundation and Siam Sinfonietta

Siam Sinfonietta presents a two-night modern music festival at the Goethe-Institut Thailand, with works by John Adams and John Cage alongside new pieces written by the orchestra's own players. Adams and Cage represent opposite ends of contemporary classical thinking — one built on relentless rhythmic pulse, the other on indeterminacy and silence — and the composer-performers of Siam Sinfonietta sit somewhere between them. Tickets start from 900 THB.
