About BTS
BTS is a seven-member South Korean group formed in Seoul in 2013, whose K-pop sound grew out of hip-hop roots into a broad mix of pop styles. The members co-write and produce much of their own material, with lyrics that deal with mental health, the pressures of youth, and self-acceptance, and with an interwoven storyline drawn from literature and psychology. Their shows are built around large-scale choreography and a catalogue that has shifted across genres over more than a decade, so a set draws on very different eras of the group's sound.
