About Big Ass
Big Ass is a Thai rock band whose sound began as pop rock and has moved toward a heavier, more straightforward rock sound over time, with a strong line in phleng phuea chiwit-style songwriting. After three albums that reached a fairly small audience, they left Music Bugs for GMM Grammy's Genie Records, and their fourth album, Seven, marked seven years in the scene and was recognised at both the Season Awards and the Fat Awards. With a catalogue this deep and a large Thai following, a live set is likely to be built around songs the crowd already knows word for word.
