About BGYO
BGYO is a five-member Filipino boy group making P-pop, with a sound that stays in OPM territory and occasionally nods to kundiman-style ballads. Formed through ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy as the "SHA Boys" in 2018, Akira, Gelo, JL, Mikki and Nate debuted in 2021 with the single "The Light," and the name stands for "Becoming the change, Going further, You and I, Originally Filipino." For fans of the Philippines' idol-group scene, a Bangkok date is a rare chance to see one of its newer acts perform in a polished, choreography-driven group format.
