Thee Marloes

Thee Marloes is a Surabaya, Indonesia trio built around Natassya Sianturi's vocals, Sinatrya Dharaka's guitar and Tommy Satwick's drums. They play retro soul with indie-jazz leanings, folding in pop and touches of local Indonesian musical culture. The stripped-down three-piece lineup puts the vocals and guitar interplay front and center, which suits a sound that rests on groove and restraint rather than polish.
