About the Artist
Monocolor is the alias of Marian Essl, a Vienna-based audiovisual artist working across sound, image, light and space. His performances pair real-time sound with generative visuals, each shaping the other as the piece unfolds. At DIAGE 2026 he presents Sentient Ocean, a live audiovisual work inspired by the living ocean of Stanisław Lem's novel Solaris.
