Kiko Loureiro

Kiko Loureiro is a Brazilian guitarist based in Finland whose playing sits at the technical, melodic end of progressive metal — precise without being cold. He spent over two decades as a cornerstone of Angra before joining Megadeth in 2015, bringing that classical-influenced fretwork to one of thrash metal's biggest catalogues. His solo sets give him room to explore the instrumental side of his writing that band formats rarely allow.
