About the Artist

JAY B is the leader of GOT7 and a solo artist whose K-pop leans toward R&B, with a producing side under the name Defsoul. Born Lim Jaebeom in Goyang in 1994, he also made up half of the duo JJ Project and records with the group ØFFSHORE as Def. His solo run came after a stint on the hip-hop and R&B label H1GHR MUSIC in 2021–22, and his live shows draw on that smoother, R&B-focused material alongside the dance training that comes with his boy band background.
