About the Artist

Elsewhere in India is an audiovisual electronica project by Murthovic (MSR Murthy) and Thiruda (Avinash Kumar), the co-founders of Antariksha Studio. Billed as Carnatic music meets electronic music meets AI-generated art, the live show is set in 2079 and follows Meenakshi, a cultural cyborg built to preserve Indian heritage, told through 3D game worlds, motion-captured dance and electronic production. It has been staged at MUTEK Montréal, Café OTO in London and Magnetic Fields in India.
