Bluescreen

BlueScreen is a Toronto gothic dream-pop band built around layered guitars, atmospheric textures, and Delphine Roussel's vocals — somewhere between mid-period Cocteau Twins and the quieter end of 4AD. Active since 1997, they released two full-lengths, In Between Worlds (2002) and A Survival Guide to Mishaps and Losses (2006), before going largely quiet. If they're playing Bangkok, it's a rare chance to hear a band with deep roots in a very specific strain of Canadian gothic pop that rarely makes it this far.
