Asphalt

Asphalt is a Portland-based band working in the slow, crushing end of heavy music — drone, sludge, and doom metal built on extended tempos and significant volume. Their Bandcamp handle (eatingasphalt) and Instagram presence suggest an active if still underground operation with a small but dedicated following in the 1.8K range. If you're after something abrasive and unhurried rather than a conventional metal show, they're worth the room.
