Apichat Pakwan

Apichat Pakwan (อภิชาติ ปากหวาน) is a Khon Kaen-based project that blends traditional Morlam instrumentation — kaen mouth organ, phin string — with electronic production and dub influences. The group formed when Dutch producer Olivier Schreuder, who spent years studying Southeast Asian music, connected with local Isan musicians Pongsapon Upani and Artit Krajangsree in Khon Kaen.
