AMÉMÉ is the project of Hubert Sodogandji, a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer working across afro house, tribal house, and organic house — music with a clear West African rhythmic influence filtered through club-ready techno and Latin percussion. In 2020 he launched his own imprint, One Tribe Records, which has become the main outlet for his releases. With a tight but growing following, his sets reward listeners who want something with more texture and pulse than a straightforward tech-house night.
