Alex Albrecht

Alex Albrecht is a dub techno producer whose live sets blend jazz and techno into improvised, deep-set pieces. He has released on Japan's Mule Musiq, California's A Strangely Isolated Place and New York's Scissor & Thread, alongside his own Analogue Attic imprint, and also writes as one half of Albrecht La'Brooy with Sean La'Brooy. He has been nominated for best electronic artist and best album at the Victorian Music Awards, and his shows work improvisation and a strong sense of place into each set rather than replaying fixed tracks.
