About WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA
Wednesday Campanella (水曜日のカンパネラ) is a Tokyo electronic pop project formed in 2012, blending club-ready beats with deadpan rap and sing-song vocals. Producer Kenmochi Hidefumi has been the constant, and in 2021 vocalist Utaha took over from original frontwoman KOM_I, whose lyrics were known for riffing on pop culture and quirky historical figures. Live, the project is built around a single vocalist out front over Kenmochi's productions, so the show is as much about the beats and the stage persona as the songs.
