About Vektor
Vektor is a progressive thrash metal band formed in Arizona in 2004 and based in Philadelphia since 2012, blending speed metal's velocity with sprawling, technical song structures and a sci-fi bent. Their debut Black Future (2009) and its follow-up Outer Isolation (2011) built a worldwide cult following, and both were reissued by Earache Records, which led to touring with Napalm Death, Municipal Waste and Absu. Their songs run long and are dense with riffs, so a live set rewards fans who like to watch a band play complicated material at speed.
