About Totorro
Totorro are an instrumental math rock band from Rennes, France whose sound weaves together post-rock dynamics and midwest emo textures without a word of vocals to lean on. Their 2015 album Home Alone is the record that built their following, blending intricate interlocking guitar work with an unusual warmth for the genre. Live, the absence of vocals puts the focus entirely on the interplay between the instruments, which tends to reward close listening.
