About Theo Parrish
Theo Parrish is a Detroit-based DJ and producer, born in Washington D.C. and raised in Chicago, whose music blends Chicago house, jazz, soul, and Detroit techno into loose, sample-heavy deep house. He began spinning and producing in 1986 at thirteen, later studied at the Kansas City Art Institute, and built his name through marathon Detroit DJ sets in the late '90s and early 2000s. His selections wander across house, soul, jazz, and disco, so expect a long, unhurried set that follows his record collection rather than a single genre.
