Sammy Virji is a DJ and producer from Witney, Oxfordshire, now based in Newcastle, whose music blends UK garage, bassline and bass house into big, bouncy dancefloor cuts. He's released through Brighton label Southpoint and also runs his own imprint, and his tracks have helped push the garage revival well beyond the underground club scene. Expect a set built around swung, bass-heavy rhythms rather than a straight house workout.
