About Real Friends
Real Friends are a pop punk band from Tinley Park, Illinois, who blend melodic punk hooks with the confessional, midwest emo-leaning lyrics and occasional acoustic touches. They formed in 2010 and, in 2021, signed to Pure Noise Records and introduced Cody Muraro as lead vocalist, replacing longtime singer Dan Lambton, with the singles "Nervous Wreck" and "Storyteller" marking the new chapter. For fans of the band's earlier records, a show offers a chance to hear how those songs sound with the new lineup.
