Pink Siifu

Pink Siifu is a Los Angeles-based rapper, poet and producer, born Livingston Matthews, whose experimental hip-hop pulls from jazz rap, neo-soul and sound collage. He has also released music under other names, most prominently Iiye, and his bars tend to be crooked and oblique, with his own voice often disguised behind other characters. His records sit closer to abstract, sample-heavy California rap than to anything built for radio, so expect a set that favors texture and mood over a straightforward run of hits.
