About Mika Nakashima
Mika Nakashima is a Japanese singer and actress whose music sits at the intersection of J-pop, R&B, and anime soundtracks, built around polished vocal production and melancholic phrasing. She broke through in 2005 via her role in Nana, where she both starred and contributed to the film's soundtrack, building a fanbase that spans drama viewers and J-pop listeners alike. Her live shows tend to center her vocal performances over theatrics, which suits fans who came in through the quieter, more introspective side of her catalogue.
