About PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING
Public Service Broadcasting is a London duo, formed in 2011 by J. Willgoose, Esq. and Wrigglesworth, who build instrumental rock and electronica around samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda reels. Guitar, banjo, drums, piano and synths carry the tracks, with the found voices from the archives standing in for a vocalist. Their live shows pair the music with synchronized film and video projection, so the archive material plays out on screen as the band performs it.
