刘宇宁 (Liu Yuning) is a Chinese singer and actor, and lead singer of the group Modern Brothers, who sings in the gufeng style, which blends classical Chinese poetic imagery with modern Mandopop production. He broke through in 2018 with covers posted on social media, then released his debut single "Imagination" that September and his first album, Ten, in 2019, which won a Media Recommended Album award at the 2020 Chinese Top Ten Music Awards. His first concert tour, "Growth Storm," ran six shows across five cities in 2020, so a Bangkok date is a chance to see a Mandopop and gufeng vocalist who built his following online before moving to the stage.
