About Kerala Dust
Kerala Dust is a London trio formed in 2016, made up of Edmund Kenny (vocals, electronics), Harvey Grant (keys) and Lawrence Howarth (guitar), who blend downtempo and organic house with songwriting rooted in psychedelic rock, blues and desert Americana. Their sound grew out of late nights in clubs and a record collection that runs from CAN and The Velvet Underground to Tom Waits, so the grooves are club-ready but the songs still carry verses and melodies. Because they play as a band rather than a solo DJ set, the live show pairs live guitar and keys with electronics, which suits the more expansive, slow-building end of their catalogue.
