Bryan Gee is a British DJ and the co-founder of V Recordings, one of the longest-running drum & bass labels in the UK, which he set up alongside Jumping Jack Frost after cutting his teeth promoting raves and spinning soul and funk in the early rave era. V Recordings has been a consistent home for liquid and rolling drum & bass since the 1990s, with artists like LTJ Bukem and others shaping the label's reputation over three decades. If you follow the deeper, melodic end of drum & bass rather than the harder-edged side, he's worth catching — his sets reflect the label's catalogue and his roots in soulful dance music.
