About FKJ
FKJ is the project of Vincent Fenton, a French-New Zealand multi-instrumentalist from Tours, now based in Paris, who blends funk, nu jazz, downtempo and soul into smooth, groove-heavy electronic music. He came up through the Paris label Roche Musique, which released his debut EP The Twins in 2012 and followed it with Time For A Change in 2013. He plays guitar, keys, sax and more himself and builds tracks live by looping them on stage, so his shows are closer to watching a one-man band assemble songs than a DJ set.
