About EIVOR
Eivør Pálsdóttir is a Faroese singer-songwriter from Syðrugøta whose music grows out of Faroese ballad traditions and moves through folk, jazz, rock, pop and ambient textures. She sings mostly in Faroese, with some Icelandic, and her album Slør marked a return to Faroese-only lyrics after three albums largely in English. Her voice is the main draw live, and the shifts between older ballad forms and more modern arrangements are what make her sets worth seeing.
