About Dawn of Midi
Brooklyn-based trio Dawn of Midi transforms the boundaries between acoustic and electronic music, using only traditional jazz instruments to craft hypnotic minimalist soundscapes that pulse with the precision of programmed beats. Drawing from their diverse Moroccan, Pakistani, and Indian heritage, this innovative group creates mesmerizing live performances where bass, piano, and drums interlock in rhythmic patterns that blur the line between human and machine. With their cult following of dedicated listeners, Dawn of Midi delivers an unforgettable concert experience that redefines what a jazz trio can be.
