About BABYMETAL
BABYMETAL is a Tokyo group formed in 2010 that fuses heavy metal with Japanese idol pop, a style known as kawaii metal. Vocalist Su-metal and dancers-backing vocalists Moametal and Momometal front the group, with a live band called the Kami Band playing the heavy side of the arrangements. Live, the show pairs choreographed idol routines with full-band metal, so expect synchronized dance numbers set against fast, heavy riffing.
