About Arkangel

Arkangel are a Belgian metalcore band who've been operating since 1997, sitting at the heavier, more technical end of the genre — their sound pulls from hardcore punk and mathcore as much as straight metal. They've never broken through to mainstream festival circuits, but 25-plus years of activity means they have a catalogue and a live practice that most newer acts in the style are still working toward. If you're into dense, rhythmically aggressive music rather than polished stadium metal, they're worth the room.
